Excellent location near public transport made our city exploration effortless.
The creaky floorboards were quite disruptive and made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The soap placement is baffling-it's located far from the shower!!! Be prepared for poor lather and a bathroom mess!!! Housekeeping barely made an effort when dressing the beds, leaving them a chaotic pile!!!

The staff were very welcoming and superbly friendly and the location was perfect near the station. Plus, it was close enough to the centre of Riga with great links to transportation, close to rain and bus station, near the shops and old town.

Excellent location near train station made exploring Riga easy. The only downside was the creaky floors, noisy at times.

I spent two nights in a cozy room that fit my needs. The hotel's location made exploring the area easy. I enjoyed the breakfast selection, especially the fruit and cereals, although I would have liked more variety. In the evenings, I found a nice spot at the bar to wind down with a glass of wine. Ordering at the bar was simple. I appreciated being able to relax in such a convenient setting during my travels as a single traveler from New York.

Great location and handy amenities
I really liked how close everything was-just a short walk to both the railway and bus stations. My room had a kettle for making tea, and there was complimentary water, a nice touch. The breakfast had a decent selection, although a bit more variety wouldn't hurt. One downside was the creaky floors, made moving around the hotel a little noisy at times.

I stayed at the Ibis in Riga for three nights in a Standard Room with One Double Bed. The location had its perks, being super close to both the train and bus stations. The nearby park and shops were handy too, even found a store for an SD card I forgot. The breakfast had a decent selection, though it could have offered more variety, especially in the pastries. On the downside, the room felt cramped. It wasn't much bigger than a shoebox, and the only pillow provided was pretty worn out. The water pressure in the shower was low, frustrating. The fact that my room had squeaky floors made it noisy at times, especially when moving around.

Checking in was easy, even at 3:30 AM, and I loved the breakfast spread in the basement with so many options! The sun terrace was great, and I enjoyed lounging there. Just a heads up-it'd be nice if rooms were refreshed a bit more often, but overall, I had a fantastic stay 😊

Great location near key transport links and attractions makes this spot convenient. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The noise from creaky floors and outside disturbances made it difficult to sleep. More variety in the breakfast options would enhance the experience, despite the homemade cakes being a standout. It's decent for short stays, but noise might be an issue for longer visits.

Solo traveler's cozy spot
The location was excellent, just across from the train station, made it easy to explore. Breakfast was simple but hit the spot, especially the omelet, who doesn't love a good omelet in the morning, right?
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it worked for a short stay.
